Welcome to Cribden House School

Cribden House School is a day school that accommodates 40 primary aged children who have Statements of Special Educational Need for Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. The school serves the area of East Lancashire namely Rossendale, Burnley, Pendle, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley.

Our children enjoy coming to school and develop a love for learning.

We have achieved Healthy School Flagship Status and are committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We are a participant in the National School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme where each child is offered a selection of fruit and vegetables every day.

Cribden House is also an accredited Investor in People establishment.

The school has five classes of eight children including a Key Stage One provision. Each class has a Class teacher and Teaching Assistant. In addition there is a Care and Welfare Officer, a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and additional TAs who support learning within the school.

During the school day the children have access to a creative curriculum. There is also an opportunity for children to take part in an 'extended day'; which is held on three evenings a week during term time until 6.30p.m.
